The Challenge

Reservoir, a young French watch brand with a distinctive retrograde display inspired by vintage automotive and aviation gauges, needed to establish credibility in the fiercely competitive independent watch space without the benefit of centuries of heritage.

Our Approach

We leaned into Reservoir's greatest strength: its unapologetic design language. Rather than competing on tradition, we positioned Reservoir as the brand for collectors who had "graduated" from mainstream luxury and sought something genuinely original. Targeted placements in Hodinkee, WatchPro, and Revolution, combined with strategic presence at Couture Las Vegas, built the brand's authority among serious collectors.

The Story We Told

We crafted the narrative of the thinking collector's alternative — a watch for people who no longer need to prove themselves through recognized logos. The design inspiration stories, connecting each collection to specific moments in aviation and automotive history, gave media rich, visual content to tell.
